This seven-minute video, created by the amazing storyteller Angie Wong, really captures the essence of our gym, and why building these kids a house is so important. We are completely overwhelmed by the support this video has generated. We received thousands of dollars in donations to both the gym and our GoFundMe, and the timing couldn’t have been better!
Thailand is projected to suffer the worst economic recession than any other Southeast Asia country due mainly to its high dependency on global tourism. Not only has the COVID-19 affected the tourism industry, but it has also hurt the Muay Thai community, which is the number one livelihood for the poor provinces like Isaan. Families in Isaan continue to struggle as their unplanned unemployment continues.
We cannot thank our sponsors and donors enough for all of the support they have given us during this time. Due to the influx of donations we have received at this time, we were able to provide support to our local community. This month alone, we sent out 650 USD in donations in the form of both cash and groceries.
